Today was my last 3 mile run for this training plan until my taper in October. Now I’m starting with 4 miles as my short runs. It felt really good today. My first mile was about a minute better than the last few times I ran the same route. I like to mix up the routes so I don’t get too used to or too bored with the same route over and over and over again. Plus, I think it helps me prepare for new terrains that I will see during races. I finished under 30 min too which was awesome!
On top of all that, I set a new Personal Best my third in three weeks!
So, goodbye 3 mile runs, we ended with a real bang!
