I had a great run today. After my 12 mile Saturday I felt inspired and decided to see how fast I could run 3 miles. I wanted to break through some mental barriers without injuring myself. I set a goal of a 31:30 3 mile run, averaging 10:30 per mile. Here is what I did.

My fastest mile was part of Mile 1 and Mile 2 at 9:11. That is a personal best for me.
No injuries or twinges, win. Mental barriers broken, win. Overall a win, win day.
