Great workout this morning. I slept in an extra few hours and it felt great. This was a repeat of my Tuesday workout and was able to go longer and take fewer breaks. Although toward the end it was getting really tough to keep up. I think overall it was an improvement.
Going to go for another run early this afternoon. Definitely need to fuel up first, but is is another beautiful day and I have this to look forward to.
The only thing I have to decide is whether to keep it a 5K or a longer slow run. All my runs are slow by most standards right now but to run without trying to improve my time today or keep it at 5K and get under 40 minutes is the question. I’m leaning toward LSD at my current 5K pace for now to work on endurance.
Maybe, I’ll keep my weekly LSD at the previous week’s average pace to work on both endurance and improving my speed on longer runs without injuring myself. Seems reasonable.
